The Busan Anti-Japanese Student Movement commemoration project was created to commemorate the noble spirit of sacrifice and courage to respond to oppression and discrimination by our seniors.During the Japanese colonial period, Japan used military training and oppression against our students, and discriminated and assaulted our students just because they were better than Japanese students.Even though our seniors were young at that time, and they are at an age where they need to learn more and be loved more, the many sorrows and pains cannot be expressed in words.
Not only that, but in order to find their rights, they launched a one-day protest movement against Japanese General Nodai, and about 20 students were arrested and suffered a lot of torture.Based on this, it is the largest anti-Japanese student independence movement in Korea that took place at the end of Japanese colonial rule.Following the courage of our seniors, we set up a commemorative party to commemorate the spirits of our seniors.
